As 2016 comes to a close and many of us celebrate the festive season in our own way, be it holidays or vacation, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year past and look forward to the new one we will usher in together.

The world of digital assets is constantly changing and we at Amnet are excited to both embrace and create change.
For the last twenty years the publishing world has dealt with a dramatic and dynamic shift in technology. The transition from print to digital, though by now hardly a topic, really changed the world in terms of how people learn and disseminate information.
Today, we as an industry have an opportunity to create the next wave of technological advancement, and as importantly a social one: accessibility.
At Amnet, we are clear about this opportunity and we are investing in technology and personnel so that the world of content is an inclusive one. We are developing the processes by which images and text will either be originated with built-in accessibility or updated to address the needs of an enormous and underserved population – our families, students, friends, peers, and millions of people around the globe.
Every single one of us is touched personally by this issue, and we strongly believe that together we can, should, and will make a difference.
On a somewhat lighter note, as we started to work with images more and more, we had clients and agencies approach us for pure design work. So, within the last year or so, our design division has expanded to include all kinds of image work – for advertising, ecommerce, retail and publishing of course. Our packaging division is now working with retail clients; our advertising production team is producing everything from print ads to HTML email campaigns.
Creativity and technology are the main ingredients for our service offerings as we move into 2017. We look forward to sharing this journey with you and your customers.
